Rooms and Lecture Theatres
Interactive teaching rooms for live surgical procedure tuition
ORTV®
seminar rooms and lecture theatres use the latest in display technology,
whether plasma/LCD screens or projection systems, to show live video images
from the operating theatre.
The links can be direct or as part of a video teaching network
of theatres and rooms using the ORcast®video distribution system.
The
surgeons use broadcast quality microphones to discuss the case with the
delegates or trainees who are free to ask questions during the procedure.
The ORTV®
touch panel allows observers to select the image of interest, whether
from endoscopy, overview camera, in-light camera, the x-rays, PAC's
images, EPR, pathology or the patient monitoring.
Local connections exist for visitor laptops, host
PCs, client servers for PACS. Naturally, when off-line, the ORTV®
seminar room may be used for conventional meetings or lectures.
ORcast®
is a unique system that connects multiple theatres to multiple seminar rooms
across a trust WAN or LAN. Connections are made either in the operating
theatre, from the seminar room, or via a central control room.

What our customers say
"The Royal Society of Medicine's Presidential Day Surgical Conference was a
great success and we owe OR Networks a great debt of gratitude.
OR Networks installed their ORTV® system linking
Main Theatres, the Day Care Theatre and Endoscopy to our Postgraduate Centre,
we were amazed at the quality of the video and audio, the equipment was superb.
We are all very impressed with OR Networks and
would be happy
to recommend
ORTV® to all." Mark Stewart
