Surgical education is hugely important for the ORH trust and vital to that development is to provide a network wide teaching facility for all surgical specialties.
OR Networks have been instrumental in the design and implementation of multiple theatre links not only across numerous surgical departments, but across several hospitals within the trust WAN including John Radcliffe, West Wing, Children’s Hospital and most recently the Cancer Centre at the Churchill Hospital.
The quality of two way audio and video links of the ORTV system is fantastic and provides us with an almost virtual reality interactive teaching environment within our seminar rooms and lecture theatres. Our system is centered on a state of the art control centre within the OMI and enables my team to establish links, monitor quality and provide recordings.
